    Driving in my car
After a month at the cottage in Northern Ontario, I went home to Niagara for a couple days. As I was driving around I was surprised at just how lush the vegetation appeared. Mind you, my neighbor said that this Spring our area has seen rainfall practically every day. I live in predominantly small town setting and in almost every case, peopleís lawns, bushes, trees & flower plants are so dominant that itís difficult to see houses as you drive up the street. Talked to a guy at local coffee shop and he mentioned it was because of the Fertilization Effect.

I never heard that term before and when I looked it up it was no surprise that global warming has something to do with it. There are articles that say this is a good thing and others say it isnít. Although the greening of Earth is increasing(??) and vegetation is reclaiming land once frozen some say there is a point of equilibrium and eventually the effects of global warming will outpace plant growth.

My question is: Just how green will it get before things level off? Iím envisioning tropical areas expanding, tree line moving northward, farming the Tundra, green oceans, etc but Iím only reflecting upon my limited knowledge.

All that belongs to human understanding, in this deep ignorance and obscurity, is to be skeptical, or at least cautious; and not to admit of any hypothesis, whatsoever; much less, of any which is supported by no appearance of probability...Hume
