I am still following multiple threads of information so likely jumping the gun, but can't see that changing soon.
So, does anyone know of links made of how memes fit into Hendrick Gommers theories of ' Natural law revisited'?

Opinions on where identity fits in?

Is it possible memes are more like the products of interaction between genes and the environment, than genes themselves. Like information and products that inform the environment, value offered? Could that explain both Lamarckian and Darwinian evolution?

No, not Memetics I'm after. Too many inconsistencies.

Any reference to Identity as a replicator in human culture? Sorry, I think thats the best description of what I'm looking at.

Was this ever presumed not to be the case?

That was the impression I got from my reading. But now you mention it how could it be anything else?

Is it now generally accepted that human culture does behave this way? If not, what is it holding back acceptance?

I have been a Dog Breeder. Looking into the reasons for the antagonism towards breeders in general, but more specifically aimed at unaffiliated breeders( ie not members of a pedigree organization) I was led to study the culture of breeders. Through the constitutions of pedigree organizations seemed the logical place to start.

I found a text on the writing of a constitution setting out some basic rules for a successful organization. These stated that a constitution should not rule on anything beyond their own goals, intent and purpose, because that is the Orgs. environment. That negative rulings should always be avoided because they don't give direction, but block it.

I also found that at one time this theory was discredited.
I thought that such organizations as the Kennel Clubs would be a perfect test of this theory. They are multi generational, with relatively short generations at that, and are an environment set up to offer value to breeders of a another species. So there are 2 sets of 'culture' to observe.

From what I have observed, it seems the Kennel clubs confirm this theory. In spades. And that we are in danger of losing Domestic Dogs because of that. That a negative statement, not a 'rule or regulation', is serving to take Domestic dogs out of their environment( humanity) Some thing I believe would be very detrimental to humanity, not to mention the implications this would have for Humanity itself.
I think I can show how., The process accelerates, or gains momentum.

If this is the incorrect section for this, happy to move. maybe philosophy? But I am desperate to either confirm or have this credibly refuted.
