It is said that when Jesus of Nazareth was nailed to the cross, water flowed from His body instead of blood. This isn't a religious discussion. For believers, Jesus can do whatever He pleases, even if it is scientifically possible or not. However, how possible is it for a normal person to spill water instead of blood? Is there any way it can happen?

Urination from high levels of fear and pain is pretty common response in all mammals.

Blood gets filtered in the kidney's from the renal artery out the renal vien. The bowmans capsule is the sight of most of that filtration. Loop of Henle is actually were most of your H2O comes out from, and then you have the distal tubes were ions and other non protein matter leaves from.

Blood is mostly water, to say that Blood doesn't leave the body is not true. The main ingredient in blood is the water. The red color comes from the Heme component of red blood cells that carry oxygen. Even red blood cells are destroyed after 4 months and defecated out of your body, except for the heme component which is recycled.

Water in the Biblical sense often referred to semen. This is confirmed by the expression "we are born of water and of spirit". I take that "water" to mean we are first conceived by the means of semen. So does that water at the crucifixion have the same meaning?
