Do machines affect the health of an individual in particular and the biosphere in general?
Yes, no, and maybe. The question is too general to really answer. What machines? What individuals? The ones operating the machinery, or ones living a few thousand miles away?
Most machines run on fossil fuel so they pollute the air when they are operating.
