CNN discovers following a lab accient that a boy gone missing for a year as been the subject of experiment by a demented genetic engeneer that died in the lab accident.

The boy is sick and has a strange disease. To everyone's horror (except CNN which discovers a ratings gold mine) the boy progressively turns into a pig, but retains most of his intelligence while lossing the ability to speak.

    a) What rights does that being that looks like a Pig have?

Then they find a pig whose brain is composed of human genomes and has learned human speach and watched tv and so on. It turns out that pig has just the same amount of human genes as the transformed pig-boy has. But following the lab accident before all this was uncovered a farmer bought him or it an now wants to turn it into a profit and sell some bacon.

    b) should the farmer have his bacon?

Then BBC discovers a weaponized verion of a mutagenic virus code named Clea that turns people into pigs, and that a group of Ex-KGB has been using it on people who have since disapeared and may now be in any pig farm?

    c) What now?

Crazy crap I'll grant you that but in a hundred years or so there might be some crazy questions we'll be confronted with

Hah, I think if the ex-Russians wanted to get at us they would find an easier way then turning us all to pigs.

I think you're missing the point completely, the issue is not the premise, it the questions that arise

if you have the non realistic genetic spectrum between a pure human and a pig,

Going from Pure human, to human with pig heart transplant, to human with pig heart transplant and pig genes, to human with some pig features, to pig with large amount of human DNA including human brain, to pig with smaller amoung of human cells but still intelligent and sentient, to smaller amount of human genes, to pig with no human genes(pure pig), in that imaginary hypothesis where would you draw the line between one that has human rights and the other who gets slaughtered for tasty bacon?

Should a man inflicted with a genetic virus that morphs him into a pig retain human right or should this creature be treated as a pig with no rights?

Well history has shown that we do not like people that are different, though we may adapt and accept them later. I'm basing this off of Native Americans, Blacks, handicapped people, and etcetera.

If they were as smart as humans I don't think they would be slaughtered, but I bet they would be treated quite a bit differently.
