Thread: Help me!!!

    Ok, I am in high school and I am taking honors anatomy and just recently we were doing a  dissection for a grasshopper and I was supposed to cut on the sides of the abdomen below the spiracles dorsally and remove the exoskeleton or pin the it back. Well I did the exact opposite cutting ventrally and removed the exoskeleton AND split it in half by not understanding the directions properly from earlier so I got two pieces. Here is a picture of what I did D:

    I am not sure how to fix this. I thought about super glue and that is the best idea I got. Does anyone got any ideas?

    I can't see your picture from this connection. However, I would suggest you document what you did, acknowledging that it was in error, then proceed to the next phase of the dissection. Do not try to "fix" it. That looks like an attempt to cover up your error, which is dishonest, and a sure route to a failing grade.
