I didn't thoroughly check the site, but it seemed to have relevant information; Chimpanzee genome vs. human genome at MetaPrimate

The answer is yes. Chimps are closer to us, then to gorilla's.
Growing up, i marveled at star-trek's science, and ignored the perfect society. Now, i try to ignore their science, and marvel at the society.

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..

Overall, yes. However, humans are, in parts of their genomes, closer related to Gorillas than they are to chimpanzees.

I had read (many years ago) that human beings are closer to baboons because baboons are violent and we have the same characteristics in many ways. I found it in a book about the evolution of the species, and this information seems to be valid according to other studies about this matter. We don't look like chimpanzees as we believe, because they are so intelligent.

We are much closer genetically to chimpanzees than baboons. Baboons aren't apes; they are old world monkeys. When it comes to violent tendencies, chimpanzees resemble humans in that both species engage in war.

    Indeed .

We do share more than 99% DNA material with chimps and we share the same ancestors with chimps as well .

    Amazing , isn't it ?
