I am 14 and have a biology exam in a week. I need to know the cell. Like the poarts of animal and plant cells, respiration and differentiation but I'm having trouble remembering things for the exam. Does anyone know of any study methods for biology?

read the book you were given several times. and notes aswell
Reading over notes won't help... Science is a subject you need to understand, not swat.
your teacher shoudl explain better and you should also note better so you cna understand
lol i just look at the picture in the book and try to remember them haha :-D
I remember in year 7 science I wrote a story about 3 angry ants who crawled into someone's ear and came out their eye to seek revenge on the person who decided to sleep on top of their ant hole.Suprisingly the story helped me remember most of the names for the stuff in your ear and eye (pupil, ear drum etc.) although now i've forgotten it all.

I agree with that totally, no amount of studying and remembering facts will give you a grasp on science. However, for a 14 year old taking a biology exam, which will probably include nothing more than remembering facts.....Originally Posted by iadam
I used to write my own exam, write out questions that I thought would be included on the test, then for a week before the exam I would carry the paper around with me and test myself a few times a day. By the time the test came I had all of the answers memorized.
Notecards help me a lot. ANd using colored pens
As for remembering parts of the cell, drawing them and making blanks and testing yourself helps.
