Where do u place viruses in the evolution tree
If u belive they were right there before the rest here is a question. Viruses 've a short life span, they reproduce very fast, there is gr8 genetic variation, less expenditure of energy and r very less suseptible 2 drugs.
Who do u think is more dominant WE HUMANS or viruses?

viruses is often not on the evoultionary tree becuase they arent considered entirely organic. rather genetic material that have escaped cells and is teerrorising them today

we humans arre dominate for the sake of our ability to adept without genetic adeption. but on genetic adeption they and bacterias kicks everybodies ass

Excellent question. One day we shall have an excellent answer. In the meantime, to me, they look primitive, perhaps the consequence of degeneration of more complex biochemical entities.

    Option 1: Define dominant.
Option 2: From the point of view of a virus, viruses are dominant.
Option 3: From the point of view of a human, humans are dominant.

Is it not true, from an evolutionary standpoint, that it is the lonely bacteria claiming the role of king daddy hoss fly?

    and...

To many, peering out at the waters of the evolution-ocean, it is erroneous and presumptuous to see humans as a reasonable maharajah of all things evolving and natural.

Viruses can't live without a host; their dependency makes them weak.
Then again, humans are heterotrophic and therefore are also dependent.

Viruses need hosts to survive and multiply but even if they get inside the human body, our body nearly always fights the virus off, in the case of the common cold anyway. Anti-Biotics won't get rid of viruses, if our body can do it and with a problem of them needing a host, we are more dominant.

After all, nice replys though. However, viruses are not alive. They are organic since they have carbon. On the other hand, we cannot put them in the evolutionary tree, since they are not cellular.
