I've come a long way in the last two years since my time as a regular on this Forum. I'm now a Senior Anthropology Major/Bio Minor.
Classes I've taken recently:
Intro to Anthro
Vertebrate Zoology
Mammalogy
Biological Anthropology
Primatology
Ornithology
Applied Anthropology
History of the South to 1865
The Incas and Their Ancestors
African Civilization
Principles of Biology II
Fundamentals of Anthropological Theory
I only need four more classes to graduate but I think I'll stay an extra semester to bring up my gpa.
Classes I hope to take:
Animal Physiology
Genetics
Anthropological Genetics
Principles of Chemistry I
Principles of Chemistry II
I know my Anthro degree will only get me so far, so I'm trying to take as many higher level Bio classes as I can. I also know that, as a scientist, I should at least know basic chemistry. Even as an Anthropologist, I'd be potentially studying scent marking and pheromones, which could involve chemical analysis..and genetics would help with population genetics in humans and other primates. I'll keep you guys updated on what I'm doing.
