    Oh! And why not just use the image link function here to post the cartoon here, rather then driving traffic to the other website?

    I can fly also.

    Sadly, it is limited to vertical flight in a downwards direction, at an accelerating rate. It ends with a short, sharp thud (or splat) at the end of the flight. The anticipated consequences have dissuaded me from the attempt.

    Thank you. I was unaware that this was preferred or possible, live and learn. Anyway, if penguins DID reacquire the talent of flying, being birds, would this truly represent a step forward for evolution? Unlikely, of course, but the idea of them reading books is even more far-fetched.

    Multiple times mammals have returned to the sea from which their vertebrate ancestors escaped, but still, they are fully mammalian.
