Thread: Intro bio question..

hey guys quick question..


im doing a Bio test next week and one of the things i need to know is about functional relationships between organelles.

One of the questions goes a bit like this:
"describe the how the function of the following organelles related to each other:

1. sER and Golgi body.
2. nucleolus and ribosomes"

(and some more but these are the two im struggling with)

I only need simple 1-2 sentence answers but ive studies everything else apart from this so im a little stumped.
if anyone could enlighten me i'd be grateful!

1. Macromolecules produced in the smooth ER are transported via transport vesicles to the Golgi apparatus.
2. Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) is transcribed and assembled within the nucleolus.
