    If it's only the female mosquito which sucks blood, what does the male feed on?

    Correct - From what I recall of the malaria speech, males are exclusively vegetarian, suckling plant juice/nectar(?).

    Females will only suckle blood in preparation for laying eggs, otherwise it's plant juice all the way.
