    I was just reading about this and it is so strange! Basically the body is split down the middle, half female and half male. It happens in drosophilia, moths and chickens, so I imagine other animals too.
    Is this possible in a human?
    How exactly does this arise?
    Why is it that the body is split in half and not otherwise?
    Is this the same as hermaphroditism?
    I'm amazed by this, reminds me of Two Face! Or that silly act you sometimes see on TV where someone is dressed half and half and conducts a monologue.

    Scrap the body split in half question, wiki says that it isn't always the case, sometimes male/female aspects are scattered around the body. Still curious that an exact split down the middle occurs...
