Does anyone have any knowledge on which US universities that are the best for a Human Biology major? I cant seem to find them on universities ranking websites.

I would say Stanford, but Times Higher Education rankings say MIT and Harvard are above Stanford. Personally, Stanford is more closely associated with pharmaceutical and biochemical research in my mind. The American pharmaceutical industry is pretty much centralized around Stanford.

If you're going to any top 50 school (by international rankings) you're doing good. You don't have to go to the best, at a point the best becomes blurred because even the best schools are not the best at every little area of interest.

Edit: my Alma Mater is at 23, meh.

Ha, clearly that makes me better than you .

In reality, I think the list is biased towards institutions in countries with more money. They get bumped up just because they have hundreds of millions (and often billions) to spend on research, which inevitably produces results. Which doesn't really reflect the quality of the education you receive at the school.

Harvard and Stanford are top. I think Cornell has a really good Bio department as well.
