don't use that many dots man. and use spaces between the dots and the next sentence, it's not an sms you know.
Growing up, i marveled at star-trek's science, and ignored the perfect society. Now, i try to ignore their science, and marvel at the society.

Imagine, being able to create matter out of thin air, and not coming up with using drones for boarding hostile ships. Or using drones to defend your own ship. Heck, using drones to block energy attacks, counterattack or for surveillance. Unless, of course, they are nano-machines in your blood, which is a billion times more complex..

Books and formal education are much better than trying to filter out subjectiveness, ego and pure lack of understanding of which one speaks, but you can get the gist of things from a forum then go check them out.

This forum, and websites like www.wikipedia.org, are good starting places. By reading posts and texts you can find out what kind of science you find interesting. And it's always good to read a lot of study books (I try to read an introductory book about all fields of science I find interesting).

i was just helping, because i know i wrote letters like that in english once, and in chinese i know it's not common to use spaces after the dot sign.

Intriguing language is chinese, base word plus addition word, like I is a word, ME is the same word, but WE is different (2 signs), US has the same first sign and a different second.

its really hard to reconise all the signs though .. the sign for human/people is pretty easy though

my first language is dutch, sounds alot like german (also easy for me)

Ni de jia hao ma? (it's probably gibberish without the tone-signs )

jups, english isn't even my second language, it's my third. German is my second, dutch my first.

Yeah, but Dutch ~ German, so English is pretty much a second.

Not really It's a common mistake to think that Dutch and German are nearly similar. I've had about 3 years of German education, but I still hardly speak the language. My grammar is a disaster and I have a very limited German vocabulary. So while it's true that the languages are closely related, it's not correct to count them as one language.

Anyway, we're slowly drifting offtopic here :P
