    Hi,
This is my 1st post in this forum but I think I am gonna be a big fan of it.
I have a question about ATP generation in mitochondria. If you can help find the answer please let me know

We know that mitochondrial inner membrane potential is required to activate the ATP synthase. What is the threshold of this potential required to drive ATP synthase? In case of electron transport chain block and no more protons are bumped, what is the potential that ATPsynthase will stop at?

    Thanks
