For my science fair project, I am doing it on "is the iris imprint more reliable than the fingerprint?"
But I don't know how to do a scientific experiment to find out that answer. Please could someone help me???

Reliable in what context?
Practicality or precision?
Reliability then, to me, rests in the machine reading the object and the caliber of the software used.
But I suppose you're asking which one provides a more defined identification. And that, I can't answer reliably.
How many points of identification in each are available with current technology is likely a respectable place to start.
I think you would need a eye scanner and a finger print scanner... and lots of time to see if the iris changes with time...
well you could put up a picture of several eyes and explain the billions or differences and do the same for finger prints and just not explain as many of the differences.. that's the best can think of... :S lol
