Thread: Weird ability

For most of my life Iv been able to bring up recently swallowed things or clear my nose and bring the contents into my mouth. It feels like I am creating a suction with my tongue somehow. I'v never heard of others being able to do this and I was wondering if its common like being able to roll your tongue or something else.

You've never heard about it because it's a yucky subject to talk about. But this ability is common, possibly universal. Nothing weird about it. The nose connects to the throat and the back of the mouth. Look up "nasopharynx" on the Wikipedia or anywhere on the web.

Also, to choke over soup and blow noodles out of your nose, you don't need to be a mutated psychic alien. Just clumsy and distracted. Don't ask how I know.

Never simultaneously laugh and sneeze with a mouth full of hot curry. It stings.

Never hiccup and sneeze simultaneously. It can take several hours to locate your head and replace it on your neck.

That happened to me I laughed while drinking coca cola. XD I got more cola for less money XD it was pretty nasty though.
