I have several snakes, and I've noticed a common behavior pattern. Of course a snake will react to stimulus near it's head. If you poke or tickle them near the center of their body they display a minimal reaction. If you poke or tickle a snake near it's tail, it will react quicker than stimulus from the body center.

Is there physiological data to suggest cephalization in the posterior spinal chord of snakes?

I was some of the mud that got to sit up and look around.
    Lucky me. Lucky mud.
