what is the connection between euphoria, the diaphragm, mouth muscles and tears? in other words, why does happiness cause the muscle reactions of laughter? this question came to me when i was laughing so hard i felt cramping pain in all the involved muscles that all traveled toward the back of my spine; smiling muscles in the back of my head and my diaphragm somehow causing pain in the center of my back. (not sure if the muscle is connected to the spine there, didn't think it was until now)

is there an evolutionary purpose to it all, or is it a mysterious phenomena of emotion?

I prefer to use my right brain to study the universe rather than my left brain.
