ok so last night i was in bed with some insomnia. anyway i glanced over at the little red light indicating the powersave mode on my tv. my eyesight is pretty bad so my eyes were unfocused and i saw the usual "halo" effect that i see when i look at any light at night time.. however i half focused my eyes for a sec and the halo turned into 12 or 13 seperate dots of light each very clear and distinct from another and each consisting of several smaller dots of light that were only streaking slightly, these together formed a baseball sized image that was larger than the light or the original halo effect. from my basic hight school bio/eye science i know that the eye interprets visual data through the use of rods and cones. is it possible i was seening the individual output of each rod/cone (whichever is used in the dark). Or are my eyes truely F'd?? should i be worried or should i start painting pictures of what i see b/c its unique??????? im just looking for some info. plz dont hate
