Hi guys and girls,
You know when you do a Western, how the heck do you get the bands from X-ray film, onto your computer? .. will a regular scanner do the job?
Thanks in advance,

Yeah just put the X ray film onto a sheet of white paper and scan it. Save it as a .tif or some other hi-res file so you can import it into densitometry software and Photoshop and the like.Originally Posted by tridimity
Some more sophisticated scanners have a backlight option for scanning see-through stuff such as X-rays or 35mm film.
Come to think of it, no Westerns I have seen featured anything about X-rays, although in most there were some characters who could do with one, usually towards the end of the story.
