    Hi,

I'm fairly new to experimental cell biology. When you have cells of interest happily growing in media, how do you then make them adhere to coverslips e.g. in a cell-culture plate? I carried out this procedure on Monday but cannot remember what the heck i did. VERY not good.

    Many thanks,

    Tridimity

You can spin them down onto glass slides if that's what you're interested in? It's a procedure called a cytospin. What exactly is your goal here?

just ask someone in the lab.

    that's normal practice.

    Thanks guys,

I figured it out - turns out all it takes is coverslips in nitric acid, and overnight incubation. (I'll leave you to your superglue, Rainycity  )

    Regards
