    I was thinking,
considering the effort and lack of accuracy of getting that huge canon in place, the canon being everything but a sniper gun,how does a sperm cell ever to find its way?
unless the egg cell is vibrating so the sperm could surf the waves, keeping his coarse away where it came from, direction 90 with the waves. In other words the egg cell vibrating, producing most of the energy, for the two to get acquainted?

Human sperm navigates by chemotaxis - that is to say, that they "swim" along a concentration gradient of substances present in the follicular fluid that surrounds the ovum. In the absence of this chemical gradient sperm just swim around in circles.

Basically, the egg and/or its surroundings are sending out a chemical message as to its location, which the sperm then follow.

If you're having trouble aiming your cannon, turn the light on.
