I'm a high school student, looking for colleges.

This is what I want to do as a career:

Any suggestions on what I would major in for this? Or, any suggestions on a college? :P

    Thanks!

Biology at the least, cellular/developmental biology if the school has it as an option. Not all schools have such specific majors for undergrads, but at least you should focus your classes in those areas, and definitely some genetics as well.

Thanks! Do you think it would make a difference if I went pre-med or not?

I'm not sure on this, but my inclination is that if you want to do actual clinical trials on humans with regeneration med school is probably a good idea, but if you want to focus on a more research oriented direction, focusing on grad school is probably better. Maybe Robbie our resident med school student can help with this.

Probably the former, but I'll have to think about it.

There are so many entries in the field of bioengineering and tissue regeneration that it is pointless to restrict yourself to some specific studies.
