I'm thinking about taking AP Biology next year at my High School. However, it's been three years since I took PreAP Biology my freshmen year, but due to a horrible teacher and a lack of studying, I learned and have retained nothing from then.

However, I do have an interest in biology. I was wondering if there were any good resources that would give me a overview or information to study that would help me be prepared for this class.

I would suggest getting your hands on the Campbell's Biology textbook, which will likely be your textbook for the course anyway, and go through it - you can skim or read in depth, whatever you need to best prepare you. You can get very cheap used copies of the older edition (which is only slightly different from the newest edition) on amazon, here:

Man can will nothing unless he has first understood that he must count on no one but himself; that he is alone, abandoned on earth in the midst of his infinite responsibilities, without help, with no other aim than the one he sets himself, with no other destiny than the one he forges for himself on this earth.
    ~Jean-Paul Sartre

Can't say I know much about this course as it seems to be a US thing, but from a little reading it seems that Campbell's Biology is a useful text. I found a website which seems to provide notes and slides on the course based on that book.

Hope that is some help to you. Personally, I found Campbell's Biology to be invaluable to the first couple of years of my degree.
