Not with current technology. Genetic engineering is very much in its infancy. Typically when we modify an organism, we're adding just one gene. We can add quite a few genes simultaneously, and knock out multiple genes too. But what you're talking about would probably require firstly a transformation with tens of thousands of genes, knocking about other tens of thousands, and finally having a very good handle on how all of those would interact with each other.

Yes, it's possible. Probable? Not yet.
This type of field interests me greatly... even IF the religious bigot's start nay saying me...
