If humans have such a superior ability to reason, why must we act like such animals?

    Resources, dominance, and reproduction

The cause of every problem, the answer to every problem

We laugh at animals for expelling feces in their food while we continue to support global warming

Conform to the wrong cause, deprive good conduct without proper judgement

    Wars, meaningless competition

    Sex driven decisions

The same rudimentary, animal-like problems exist; they are just in different forms.

If you appreciate the theory of evolution, it would suggest that we have evolved this ability to reason in order to help us be even more successful at feeding, fucking, fighting and fleeing than other animals.
