Is it nerdy to create an account on a science forum?is it nerdy to create a account on a scince forum?
1: Capital letters at the beginning of every sentence.
2: When there is a vowel as the first letter in the next word, 'a' becomes 'an'.
3: 'Scince' is spelled 'science'.
And no it isn't nerdy all it means is that you are smarter than all your friends.Originally Posted by 425 Chaotic Requisition
It's kind of nerdy.
If signing up for a science forum is nerdy then what would you call posting on a science forum almost 3 years after you sign up?
I don't care if it is nerdy. If it is, then the only other people here are also nerds!![]()
dont worry nerdys are usualy more sucessfull in life ^^
Is that what the nerds are calling themselves nowadays?
What is success?
Being percieved by the general public of accomplishing your goals.Originally Posted by 425 Chaotic Requisition
Or something like that  There's at least an element of public opinion in it: A homeless person who thinks of himself as having achieved all his goals will still not be called succesful, because the general public disagrees (rightly or wrongly).
Nerds very often find a well-paid job, they're seldom unemployed. They can create products and scientific explanations that very often work spectacularly well (like moon landers, medicines, the theory of evolution, etc). And if 'social-science' nerds are included then nerds also achieve positions of political power very often. Few would not agree that this is at least one form of success (perhaps also the form)
i suppose its off topic but i think success is persinonel satitsfaction
The problem is when your boss doesn't like people to be smarter than them self. They say "oh thank you for that amazing efficiency in your work but no, you're not getting a raise." :xOriginally Posted by Pendragon
