Hi, one of my major life goals is to create true Artificial Intelligence. I know this is a very difficult task but I cannot be stopped once I know my goals.
I am looking for a [self learning] [intelligent] [forgetting] human algorithm. Does anyone have any good ideas of how to create it. The only restrictions are that the AI machine must be able to talk (either by text or words) to me and I must be able to talk (either by text or words) to it.

Some ideas to get you started:
    1. ask for input
    2. break up the words
    3. classify words as subject, verb, direct object, indirect object, adjective
    4. store info inputted to a way the machine can understand
    5. if inputed phrase is pleasing, happy++
    else if inputted phrase is angry towards machine, sad++;
else if inputted phrase is etc....
    6. reply according to variable happy, sad, angry, etc.
    7. repeat

That is just a VERY simple program. It may not even be AI because it is just if else then statements. Please post some of your ideas!

    Thanks,
    - Nishant Shukla

    1. Use an artificial language like Esperanto, with no irregular forms

    2. To begin with use no idioms or non-literal communication

    3. See if you can program it to use the 'deep structure' regarding sentence parsing that the Chomskyan revolution gave us

    4. See if you can use neural net architecture in part, to allow it a little 'fuzzy learning'

    Any other thinks?

Would not a fundamental part of A.I. consist of being self aware.
