    Hey, everyone!

I am a master's student in Cognitive Science at the University of Vienna. I am doing a study in the relationship between personality attributes
and how people form impressions of political candidates.
I would really appreciate if you could answer this questionnaire. It takes less than 10 minutes!

    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...mail_form_link

I'm willing to share the results here!

Thank you very much for your help! =)

What do (supposed) NDEs have to do with political candidates?

Thank you very much for your interest, Dywyddyr!

This study will also explore the relationship between personality and memory. The article presented at the beginning of the questionnaire aims to investigate that!

    Ah, okay.
It's nothing to do with political candidates or politics at all.

    It is not mine, Jane!

I assumed that a cute dog with a flower would help with the questionnaire's response rate ! =D
But it is not working so far =(

I disagree, it has quite a bit to do with it. It's no coincidence, at least in the US, that religiosity, a good proxy for superstitious NDE belief, is above average in nearly every Republican-held state.

I've never been a fan of pinterest.

However, now I am curious, did you help felipegtm by taking his quiz?

I don't know what pinterest is . I am a bit behind the curve when it comes to what goes on on the internet.

I just did a picture search on the picture and tracked it down to that woman's site.
I still don't see what the significance of that (or her) site is.

Perhaps I am just naturally incurious

No I haven't done the quiz either. The last time I did a personality test was over 30 years ago!

LoL - I clicked the link you posted (a pinterest link) and did not find the puppy pic. I had no idea why you posted that.

Maybe felipegtm will have the answer.

Oh,I thought I posted two different pinterest links. Now that I look,it seems I may have posted one of them twice. But ,in any case there were scores of similar photos and no direct link to that one particular photo.

I did find that photo there although I had to scroll down a bit-and in the appropriate section of her page.

I think it is just on her page and not one that she copied from somewhere else

I am on my phone now so it is a bit more difficult.....

I do not like pet dogs, so there is no way that I would have a go at this quiz.

But Dave, resisting marketing is not a capitalist ideal. Are you turning liberal?

Just looking that one up. I have a bit of reading to do before I can comment on it.

I took your quiz. Although, given how long ago this was posted, I probably missed whatever deadline you had for your paper.

I'm actually far more interested in your testing method, which doesn't actually start once you click that hyperlink, but instead starts with the cute dog picture that has nothing to do with the quiz. Clever. The picture is meant to illicit fluffy happy feelings so that quiz-takers go through greater emotional whiplash once they start the test. I'm not being sarcastic when I say I enjoyed how neutral, clinical, and clearly-this-is-a-study-of-emotional-states-altering-how-people-lay-down-memories this was. I had fun.

This was my first post, so... 'Hi everybody.'

@ObeyBunny; Welcome! Your handle slays me, I don't know what to do with it.

@Dave; I should clarify that Bernie Sanders was opposed to the TPP, he wanted it dead. It was The Teflon Don who officially killed it in a paroxysm of lefty populism. Bernie considered it as a power grab by financial/industrial elites. Teflon Don said it was a crappy deal. I agree with both gentlemen on this.

Thank you for welcoming me! Skittishly peeking around as I have been so far, I think I like this site. Nice, polite, well educated people all around.

Also... what handle? I don't have a signature yet and my profile picture doesn't show up in my other post. You mean my username?
