One can only spend so much time per day between the sheets, lol.
Life has far too many interesting activities to explore and I think that for most relationships, having similar chronology enables them to have similar perspectives on shared interests, a sense of the same history.
I'm not suggesting that things never work out between December-May couples, for I know of a few myself, but I cannot think that a 'youth elixir' would much affect relationships between people.
Looking after one's health should be a priority at all ages and then one will feel 'perky' well along in life, no elixir required.![]()
Your query puts me in mind of the film Peggy Sue Got Married. Near the end, Peggy Sue (Kathleen Turner) is reunited with her high-school sweetheart and ex-husband Charlie (Nicholas Cage). She asks what happened to his (younger) girlfriend. Charlie shrugs and says, 'When I talked about the Big Bopper she thought it was a hamburger.'
