Since the Earth is moving east, there is a sensation in my mind which is that my mind feels focused on that direction. So these questions I have are in regards to this sensation of my mind focusing on direction:

1.) Can the mind focus on more than one direction at once, or can it only focus on one direction at a time?

2.) There are thousands of different directions because if I point in one direction and move my finger a fraction of a millimeter to the right, then that is now a new direction. And I can keep on doing this for thousands of different directions. Therefore, if the mind can focus on more than one direction at once, can it focus on thousands of different directions all at once? If not, then what is the maximum amount of directions the mind can focus on?

3.) Among the thousands of different directions, there is only one direction that points DIRECTLY east. Therefore, if you tell your mind to focus on that one specific direction that points DIRECTLY east, then will your mind focus on that direction, or is that impossible for the mind to be that accurate?

What if you are in space , what direction are you heading? The mind comprehends many things at the same time , we call that multitasking.

You have to be directly facing the East Pole.

Actually, you don't have to be facing that way in order to focus on that direction. I notice that regardless of whatever direction I'm facing, there is this sensation in my mind that focuses east which is why I was asking that question.

You do realize that there is no East Pole, don't you?

Perhaps the respondent was merely being polite in not engaging the obvious?

The OP seems to be asking of multiple directional understandings.. and I imagine it thus.. The Planet you reside on is rotating..
Giving you momentum to the East.. Yes I understand this. Calculations of the circumference at your latitude and of the Earths velocity of rotation and simple arithmetic sums can find you your speed.. At or around four a.m. in the morning go outside and look straight up.. That is the direction planet Earth is hurtling along at, as it orbits the Sun..the Solar system, and now things get complicated.. because we also know that the Sun is taking it's planets along a irregular path up and through the Galactic plane as it rotates around the Galactic mass.. at about 60 deg askew to the Galactic plane.. and the story does not end there, because at a still greater velocity the Galaxy itself is hurtling towards the cluster of Galaxies known simply as the local group. The Virgo cluster.. Now I have little doubt that the semantics need not be correct the fact that motion of many aspects is understood and known as factually correct. Some people can and do understand these things easy.. The Universe is a 3 D paradise where nothing is still and it's very, very big. I wounder if I have helped. ...
