Do you believe others are scared of you, concerning what you can do and what you can accomplish?
I ask people often in real life how to get standard knowledge, but they refuse because they fear what I will become with it. I frankly laugh at them since they donít get the real world/normal interaction, but then itís not my issue.
Do you fear others, and if so, for what purpose/reason?

I'm not sure I entirely understand the question, but no, I don't think so. First off, I have no idea what others think I can or can't accomplish, either way, I don't know why they would fear it - why they would think it would put them or someone else at risk.

[Quote] Do they actually say that to you? Or are you just guessing that is why they are not being more helpful? Could it be they are just lazy? Preoccupied with something else?

I'm not good with personal confrontation, and am a bit conflict avoidant. I dislike it when someone is upset or angry with me, even when I am 100% certain I've done nothing wrong. Is that fearfulness? On the other hand, I don't think I have an expectation that people are going to behave badly or are mistreat me just for the hell of it. I tend to give strangers the benefit of the doubt, until they start acting like a jerk. And even then I tend to think "oh well, maybe they're just having a bad day" and leave them be.

How would they know what I can accomplish if they do not know me? Once they get to know me they would see that I can be of benifit to them with some of their problems and help them when possible.

Fear to me is doubt in yourself.

lulz.. it's like this. Many people believe in fate. Thus, it's apparently not my fate to do what I want in life.

Not my bother, I don't subscribe to metaphysical concepts, it's my cultural upbringing.

This is very strange if-then logic. It makes no sense to me. Please explain how your preface leads to your conclusion?????

Well most people I know will say that others will attack me for getting what I want, but then is not my problem.

Do you use the exact words "standard knowledge" on such occasions?

'Cos if you asked me I wouldn't refuse, I'd be confused. I'd have no idea what on earth you were referring to.

    I'm not interested. lol..

I simply believe it's funny how you all contradict, yet I am supposedly "bad" for it because the world believes in fate.

You're just jealous that we contradict better than you do. The world's fate is bad and contradictory, albeit in a suede sense, but of course the seasons must be held accountable -- but of course you know this already.

er.. OK. Look, not everybody thinks as you do. If you get irked somebody is moving onto "your strip" as it were, then you have to state why that person must care.

Actually they're refusing so as to not hurt your feelings.

I'm not quite sure if I understand the question but I do know that many people are 'possessive' of what they know in the workplace because they do not want another competing for their job or their next promotion.
(That addresses the 'afraid of what I might accomplish with it.')

Personally, I am not afraid to share what I know and learn because I am always learning and unless you are willing to work as hard as I do, you will not be a threat to me even if that is your objective.

That, and I always know just a tiny bit more than I share unless you know exactly the right questions to ask.

Even the bosses know that I am the 'go to person' when you need to know where the figurative bodies are buried. (You need to know how to do that the old-fashioned way? Like three system installs ago? )

A good memory is very useful at times...
