    The Golden Age fallacy? Nostalgia?

Unless you literally mean yesterday, in which case the phenomenon is called "Monday morning".

What, exactly, do you mean by "yesterday"? If you mean it literally, as Strange, Dwywddyr, and cosmictraveler appear to have assumed then "Dont we all feel yesterday was better than today" is simply not true! (I'm writing this on Christmas day, having opened presents and eating candy, Much better than yesterday!)

If you mean yesterday as in "the good old days", I've always felt this was because we were younger!
