Does a person when he reaches teen years boost their intelligence?

IQ relative to peers around the same age tends to remain stable throughout life. Absolute IQ, on the other hand, typically peaks in the early 20's and slowly declines afterwards. Facets of intelligence do not take a sharp downturn until mid-60's. The faculty most affected throughout aging is "Reasoning & Problem Solving"; however, verbal intelligence shows resiliency, declining the least over the years.
