I have a problem with overthinking and being negative. To sum it up, I feel like I am my biggest problem in life, that my mind is my own enemy.

Although this is true, I'd like to see how one could describe that in general. And help obercome it?
The best way I've come across is cognitive behavioural therapy. Not something easy to do alone, although there are workbooks - but they're usually done on the basis that you go back to the therapist from time to time to monitor progress.
(Also wise to get a general health check first. Bit silly to lay out $100s on therapy only to find that what you really needed was a simple prescription for something quite pedestrian that can be picked up on a routine blood test.)
