    Technology Review recently produced a video documentary on work being done in the field of sociometrics. It has many potential applications within the communications industry, the business/technology field, as well as the healthcare field. This technology is meant to read changes and tones in people's voices to understand their mental response to social interactions. While it is still in development stages, they seem to be making progress. The video was very interesting and suggests that with the use of this technology people can more effectively interact with eachother, businesses may become more productive, and healthcare workers can monitor patients responses to medications and treatments over the phone.
