What do you make of someone who eat candy for breakfast but is paranoid about the flu vaccine?

Their excuse for being paranoid about the flu vaccine is that some people don't think it's been tested enough. But when asked exactly how much is "enough," they get defensive, because I assume, no matter how much testing is done, their paranoia will most likely remain, excuses they give, are not the cause of their paranoia, but a mere justification of it.

I brought up the fact that many people think that sugar has been tested enough to know that eating candy for breakfast is a no no, yet the opinion of these people is ignored, while the opinion of a much smaller(and I assume--much less informed) population is honored.

I don't get it, people are strange.

Nonetheless I'm pretty sure nutrition is to blame for this paranoia, too much sugar, and not enough B vitamins, because the person is also afraid of carbohydrates(but for some reason eats candy for breakfast)

I'm a bit too judgemental, but I'm honestly concerned about this person's well being.

Based on what, exactly? His magic eight-ball? What a strange and silly assertion. I'd be curious to see what strange and silly evidence there is to support it.

As I see it, the sugar breakfast will appeal to his inner selfish desire which will overwrite his rational side.

I do understand his fear of such vaccine, specially considering what other "inresting" side effects other drugs has.

What interesting (I assume you meant interesting) side effects does the flu vaccine have?

Yes "interesting" sorry I'm a sorely bad at spelling and grammar!

Uhmmm, I belive I clearly expressed "other drugs", didn't state similar drugs.

Other drugs, drugs such as those who made women give birth to children without arms, p-pills (those drugs that prevent mestruation, dunno the english word) that causes blod clog ..etc. Compared to such drugs, I wouldn't give so much thought to sugar ^^
