Lets say two major colleges are playing a game of PONG, with an individual. Meaning that using various psychological methods they cause an individual(me) to move from one area to another. In my case between Miami and Atlanta. Lets say the individual was unaware of the game, but then suddenly became aware. Lets say that terms could be placed by the individual who was being manipulated; once he was consciously(aware) of the game. Lets say he wanted to play a game of his own.

The winner of the game grants 100,000,000 to the individual who was being manipulated(me).

The loser of the game (meaning all participants and ones knowledgeable of the game) must be shot by a professional marksman 4 times with a 9 mm handgun in both feet and hands.

Yup.... I hit an all time high with that one.... WOW! I am, in a unprofessional manner, NUTS.

This is like the time I actually wrote an e-mail to NASA explaining an idea I had.

Or the time I walked into a hospital in Atlanta professing I had a concept that would cure aids.

But I take it with a grain of salt... I know I am mentally ill... there is little I can do about it, I just try and live with it.

The funny thing is, I know it may not be real (the delusions that is) but at the same time I am willing to risk embarrassment on the chance they are not.

Ahhh! The life of a schizophrenic... The delusions can be so empowering, and so beautiful sometimes. At the same time they are destructive to my life and those who are around me. It is truly a prison from which there is no escape.

I have begun to understand that there is a kind of cycle to the delusions and the way in which it is either for or against me. There is pattern in it. Kind of like waves in a way. Sadly logic does little to help; in fact, in most circumstances it frustrates the situation.

There is a very thin line between 'reality' and imagination.

Reality has to pass through the filters of our mind in order to perceive it.

The same area of the brain lights up when we remember experiences and when we imagine something to be real.

So is reality imagined or not?

And how much of our imaginations influences the reality we perceive?

Beliefs are based on the mind imagining what is and isn't so from our experiences and perception of 'reality' that could be imagined.

And people live by their beliefs.

Shizo, you are very fortunate to have a very fertile imagination. You seem to regard that as a disability. I don't think it should be.
Imagination needs to be controlled just as our emotions do.
But that doesn't mean thwarting them, and i think harm can be done by restriction or restraint and especially by an anxiety about them.
The best thing is to accept this aspect of your personality and realise they need an outlet as much as anything else does.
So the key is to guide them into a suitable outlet, that doesn't cause you to suffer, or anyone else.

Anger for example, expressed through martial arts is creative and beneficial.

For imagination there are a whole vista of suitable outlets through art, music, writing, dancing, playing the piano...........even designing your garden.

Why don't you incorporate the ideas you are having in pictures, a comic strip? Or even write it down as a story? Or paint it onto a big canvas?

Such wisdom outweighs historic bouts of forum trolling.

Yes it's highly amusing how the label of troll is given

when certain people of a prickly disposition disagree with another persons point of view

or they have such a scant sense of humour that they take offence at the slightest nudge or ribbing.

Yet it is also interesting to note how such people are quite happy to dish out insults without batting an eyelid until an insult is thrown back and then they scream troll and grip so hard onto the moderators undergarments whilst sucking their thumbs and grizzling loudly.

Therefore forums can be exceptional places to practice the art of 'guiding' ones emotions.

Thanks for pointing that out Pong
