Man... I can't take it any longer!!!
I've tryed every approach possible, EVERY technique known to the
gr8est psychologysts ever and still I can't talk sense to my &@#*ed up
excuse for a father that I have.

This time his closed mindness went over and beyond the limit that a very
patient man like me can take.

You see, my father is REALLY obsessed with my highschool grades
that it goes above and beyond common sense. hell, it goes even further
    then a mental petients' sense...

And me being not-so-good student myself(well.. one of the worst) doesnt
make the situation simpler if ya get wut im saying...

I'm currently in the 11th class(end of year), 1 more year and Im gone to
    the armyz...
The thing is that sinse the 5th grade or so I've been a verrry bad student
to say the least... up until the year ago...
A year ago I've decided that it's study time... didn't work so well as you
might guess by the sheer existense of these post

So there be months that I study and there are the "dry months" that I just
dont have the energy fur that bullshyt...

Anyways, as there is only 1 yar and im gone I'm on full throttle nowz
But getting back in business is not so easy as an idiot like my father might think...

All the way through my "studies" my father nudged my with his closed mindness
thinking that highschool is like god or something and making illogical
remarks(and acts) such as taking my computer for a certain periods
    of time
and acting like shit EVEN THOUGH I WAS STUDYING(but not 24/7 as he wanted...)

Today happened one of many but one of the worst senseless acts that he
    could do.
Soonz there be a final test in math, and as I slept thoughout all the years
in those classes I didn't knew much... untill like 3 months ago that I took
a private teacher to teach me... nowz I know ALL the material needed
    for the next test.

So I call me dad(he be in america nowz so I can't talk face-to-face with him,
which is quite better then a mano to a-bad-excuse-for-a-father talk as
he just runs away like a stupid sissy when I pin him down with my superb logic )
so I call him right(?), as me need some small funding for me campaign
(which he doesnt resent giving in normal cases) so I ask him..
then he tellz me; "no can do, finish ur tests first, then I wanna see the results
and only THEN we can talk about it"...

    so I say him;
"but I already know all what there's to know, plus the test is in a week
AND i'm still studying with me private teacher 2hrs/2 times a week, and
besides; the test results will be given only at the beginning of the next year!

Then he says: "I want you to study 24hrs/day all day long and only after
    the tests we can talk"

so i say "WTF?! this doesnt make any sense you fucking idiot!" (MUCH less
aggressive then that, I usually only say him what I really think at the
    end of hopeless talks)..

so he says: "I dun wanna talk with you on that tone"(note that I didnt actually
curse at the last sentese, i just made a mild attack on him with a slightly higher
    tone of voide)

so I say: "sorry dad... so let me get this straight... you want me to
study all day long a subject that I already know... and to study it
24hrs/day? did i get that right?"

    he says: "yes."

    ..

    then I hang up.

    GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZUZZZZZ CHR1S7!!!!!!!!

Please, gimme anything, I tryed all the approaches and need something
to fill the logic bank of his... pleeeeaseeee!!!!!!!

    ~tony

p.s. I dun really need that diploma, as I dun want to work for anyone in
the future, I'm thinking ONLY big, I cant spend my years in some company
surving some boss and live in the rut.
besides, I have many ideas for the future(of my income) and I surely dont
    need that diploma for this.
But he on the other hand wantsss it.. and when I ask him why he wants it
so badly he says "just so"... so I be needing to spend all those years just
so he can have his "just so"??! wtf?!
And he doesnt even wanna talk logically about it... hell, I doubt that he
even knows the concept of "logic"...

Sometimes I feel sorry for him,
but most of the times I just hate him.

A lot of us never get along well with our peers. Never well at all because we want our freedom but lack the needs to exercise that freedom (money, experience, education etc). But there is one thing and only one thing I can help you with Hanuka to aid you and your life:

You have plenty of time left on the clock.

Do what I do. I was supposed to go to University after college, and I never did any work becasue I was lazy. But when my Dad stopped listening to me and showing interest, I realised that I was on my own in life. And that is true. You are alone and you have to survive by yourself. I did well in college, well reasonably well. But my Dad kicked me out of my home about a year ago and I had to stop doing Maths and Physics (before I started it) which is what I realised I needed to help me build my time machine in my future.

So here I am with nothing, had been on the dole. And guess what? I work in a factory. But I am going to work and work and work and save every last penny to go to college, and finish what has yet to start.

Luckily, my government in the UK will sponsor my University education (because I want to teach physics eventually). So my costs are fine for that era.

It will take time, and more time. And a lot of hard wor, but it will help me achieve my wish, my to be reality. I can then work on my theories having the math and physics knowledge behind me.

Use that example of me to guide you to, wherever it leads.

Contrary to popular belief a dream isn't a dream, its a reality that only you can make. So find that reality, and create it Hanuka. And remember that you, and only you can make it. You don't need money to succeed, you need strength and devotion and the know that you will succeed.

Your father cannot help. His life is in full swing. Yours is starting. So start it yourself and remember, only you can help you.

PS. A bit of advice, I wouldn't join the army. War is not the way. I am a man of peace.

Lolz, the thing is: currently at me free time I have absolutely NOTHING
to do around tha house, from time to time me and me mates go hang around
but when me comes home it all sums up to me gamez and working on
my campaign (which will be generating quite nicely if my father weren't
such a pain in the butt).

As for afterschool army is defenetly the way for me, I hate peace, I think
that its a dull era between wars when nothing interesting is happening...
man I wanna shoot some people already...

And as for actual education I dun belive in orgenisations such as schools
or universities(universities are quite better then school but in the end it's
the teacher's descigion on what exactly you study - not yours.

Depending on the years to come I guess that I'll take a few short
courses about business and be over with it and be free to move along
to the Freelance business world(or acting )

Eather way, I think school is very useless to me and no matter what happens
a man shoulnt be so illogical as my father, its a crime against sense!!!

    Cheers!

No problem. But consider what I said. I wouldn't join the army if I were you.

Why would one keep a tiger from killing?
    it's just so cruel!!!(fur tha` tiger offcourse )

Same with me, I like battlez, always liked and always will.
I have no worries being a KIA, at least I'll know that I gave my bast shot and
wasnt quick enough to dodge that bullets

Give me ONE reason why a man like myself shoun't join the armyz? (its
illegal to not join the army in israel once youre 18, but I still have an option
to be like one of those sissies at the bease - which I dont want!)

Did I understand you to say you are studying 4 hours a week? And your dad won't fork over some spending money? Oh, the humanity.

I mean, I'm not gonna study 24hrs/day anyways, hell im not even gonna
    study a hour a day!
But that doesnt mean that I need to waste my time ovar the computer
while I can make use of my time and develop my campaigns...

What a spoiled little bratt you are hanuka

You have a dad who CARES about you and gives a damn not only about whether you live or die but about the quality of YOUR life.

HIS life is not enriched with you passing this test, but YOURS is, whether you realise it or not, and you telling him you KNOW the subject already isn't carrying any weight due to your previous piss poor performances so your dad is pushing you in the RIGHT direction.

My dad did not give a shit about me and my bro, didn't care if we lived or died and him hanging my bro upside down over a motorway bridge by his ankles at age 5 kinda confirmed that one!

Be grateful your dad loves you and thank him for the time and money he's put into YOU since birth and repay him by studying and doing well.

I was surprised when you said you were a bad student, because despite your VAST immaturity I do detect intelligence. Use it to accept that good exam results help more than they hinder.

    F*cking hilarious isn't it!

Age 15 I was buying my own sanitary pads out of my £1 a week pocket money, age 16, my own clothes, bus fares, entertainments out of £5 pocket money (a week) and this is after having to clean house from top to toe.

Then age 18 and working had to give mum 50% of earnings in rent, money towards car repayments and pay for everything related to myself MYSELF.

Where do these privilaged kids get off whining like this?

Intelligence doesn't mean that I HAVE to be a scientist at proffession..

I'll let others do the hard work for me, I have my way, he has his. and he
wants to preach HIS way into MINE!

What, you think that I dun aim for success?!
Many people aim to work FOR the man because they want to, or most of
the time because they fail to be man so they have to stick it up to him.

I chose the risky way(it doesnt essentially have to be harder) and I'm gonna stick with it.

And how exactly can you say that making your own son do USELESS things
such as studying what you already KNOW is an act of compassion??
He is wasting my precious time and forcing me to bum all day long
when I can make use of my time!

    p.s.

No, I am NOT sounding like MY parents.

I was NOT encouraged or pushed to do anything, I had to do it all myself.

I take back the intelligence part of my earlier post Hanuka, you really are an idiot and yes your dad is an idiot for believing you are capable of being anything else.

It's the truth and Hanuka said so much himself

    The title is

    my dad is an idiot

then he goes on to detail the fact that his father gives a damn and wants him to succeed

the man IS as Hanuka said an idiot,

    because as Hanuka also said

He doesn't want to succeed the easy way

This is evidence of idiocy as studying hard is NOT the easy way.

Because intelligence and that diploma can get you out of the army as I've said already! Look beyond the front page and read between the lines!

    WTF?!
    1st of all I can't.
As I'm not of 18 years yet I can't have a credit card to pay through internet
if you didn't know you moron.
2nd I CAN'T make my upper level business tactics come true as I didn't finish
school yet and still have 4 years of army service MINIMUM b4 I can be finally free!

You think life is so simple don't ya?
    yeh life is simple

When I was 16 I was earning money not receiving handouts from mommy and daddy

I had to get a job, wasn't allowed to go to college as I could not PAY for myself to live while at college

    So I got a job working 40hrs a week for £27

Out of this I paid rent to my mum and bought my own lunch, clothes, travel. everything.

I never made excuses like you, GET A JOB lazy layabout and stop whining about your dad.

Like I said in my first post, be grateful he gives a damn as plenty of fathers don't.

There was no internet or credit card when I was 16 but I managed to earn money and pay with cash which by the way STILL EXISTS!

Every post you write is stupid and wasteful and reactional. You are 17yrs old. In my day a 17yr old was a man. He stood on his own two feet. I knew many kids who were in their own homes at 15yrs old.

Time for you to grow up and stop being afraid and accept the advice your father is giving you because YOU WILL regret it in years to come if you don't.

Enough flaming. If I were moderator I'd slap both your hands at the moment. This kind of discussion got Selene banned when battling with JaneBennett. And right now ToR your being very much like Selene was. Learn from that.

And Hanuka your being like Jane, who got off scott free. You may not be so lucky.

Actually Chaotic if you had any sense, you would see that my words are purposeful and tactical and aimed at shocking some sense into Hanuka that actually his dad ain't so bad afterall. IF I really couldn't give a damn whether he wins or loses I wouldn't have taken him off ignore to reply to these posts.

I am not attacking you, not really. It's 'tough love'

You said your dad was an idiot, my agreement should make you realise that actually it's you that needs to change not your dad. It's YOUR life, and all your dad wants is what any decent parent wants and that is to ensure the best for their kids.

It might be frustrating for you, but try to project yourself into the future and consider how YOU might parent in this same situation. What would you do differently?

Hand over the cash, not bother if son failed or succeeded, sent him off to dangerous times to his possible death? Is this how you'd parent your kids?

Actually I took the hard route , like I SAID, I never went to college when I left school.

Hence I advise all young people NOT to do as I do but to DO it right if they are offered a chance to do so.

Why don't you just put these activities on hold until you're old enough to get your own credit card? The internet will still be here in a year.

I'm not suggesting you quit, I'm suggesting you wait. Your father has no duty to you to help you accomplish your business goals. He gets to set the terms of his participation in your ventures. He may be irrational, you may not like his terms, but those are the rules of the game. You can either complain to him and further incur his wrath, or you can cut him out of the deal altogether, wait a couple of months, and get back in the game when you get your own credit card.

The problem is that every 2nd word that comes out of his mouth is irrational!
He belives that nothing that relates to "greatness" is possible by the common folk.
I can bring a pink elephant infront of him + DNA test and he'll still say something
stupid and walk away like a frickin` pussy!

And please stop already saying that my father wants the best for me.
He just wants to to follow his "pricipals" of being a jackass.
When I say something like "gimme a few minutes to finish this and this"
the he says start working immedatly!
I say "but its gonna take just 5 minutes"
he says "thats what you told me last time, and it took you more then a hour to finish" (last time I said that I do something and didnt do it was
like about 3-4 years ago but he still uses that excuse... geeeze)
then I resent and say I wont study.
Then he is saying "dont talk to me with that tone" (its his usual excuse..
never refilling his supply of new excuses)
Then it resulting me going out or just being in my room doing nothing.(as
he probably disconnected my computer by then)
And the end result is me not studying, he has -Rep from me while this
all could be sorted out if this jackass wouldn't anwer "just so" every time that
I question his stupidity and illogicalness!

Read what I wrote. I never suggested that your father wants the best for you. And I did give you an approach to dealing with your father, although it's an approach that will not tame but will rather nullify his irrationality: ignore him.

There's a very real fear when you come from an affluent family that your parents will continue to control your life after you leave home, no matter what you do. That's because they wield real power over other adults, and so they can interfere in your dreams if they don't like where they're going.

I wouldn't want to be the kid in "Dead Poet Society" who was hoping to be an actor someday.

So tell me, Hanaka, is your fear that your father has a specific career in mind for you, or are you really just mad that you have to wait another couple of weeks to get where you're trying to go?

You can either complain to him and further incur his wrath, or you can cut him out of the deal altogether, wait a couple of months, and get back in the game when you get your own credit card.
I think you're highlighting the problem very well. Sometimes over-zealous parents say "wait" when they really mean "never". They hope if they say "wait" enough times that you'll forget about it, and your hopes and dreams will just go away, so you can do what *they* want instead.

They'll put you in counseling in the hopes the counselor can make you like the raw deal you're getting, and accept it.

Yes. If he is a dumb parent then he is probably on autopilot with the course set him by his own upbringing. Which could be copying or rebelling... you get the idea. Now maybe he can't make sense of his parents but you're in a great position to see what he can't. Take a hard objective look at them and what perhaps dysfunctional lessons your dad got early in life.

It could be as simply idiotic as, "It made no sense, and I turned out OK, so I'd better make no sense to my own kid." Actually few parents wish to be fully understood (exposed) by our children.

I'll bet there's more. You may be enlightened observing your dad with his parents and siblings. You might see them orbiting some old puzzle and even help them out. You're an inside agent with access to classified information... who else can crack these cases? Who else would?

Well he doesn't even know what to do with his life so how is he suppoused to
even try and think about my future?
    I tell ya how;
He came up long ago with the idea of Highschool Diploma = "success".
And did not budge an inch to any side from that momment that he sat his mind on it.

You see... When I was young(age of 1) our family was in a pretty bad financial spot
so me parents moved to Israel there my father made a very good job by giving
us a mediocare life... Then he just quit.

Why the hell when people hit mediocrate they just quit?!

After this my parets split and me father now works at the same place for over 5 years now!

Whereas his knowledge on Elerctonics and Software Engeneering is extremely supirior.
The fact is that he can make a MAJOR shift in our lives if he'll just belive
    that the "impossible" is possible.

And as for your questions I am REALLY mad at him!
I'm mad at his irrationality 24/7.
I'm mad at his disbelief that the only things that are possible in life is what
is currently happening to us and that there are now "levels" beyond that!

And no ammount of "weeks" will sway his mind I'm afraid.
I was thinking that a club into the head might to the trick but the after-consiqueses
    might be too harsh... :?

There is so much that one teenager can take, and frankly; I'm afraid that
words alone can't describe his true nature that good... :?

Yeah, problem is that there is no "wait" in his dictionary. There is just "no"
And when he feels threatened or "pinned down" by my logic he simply farts out the
same excuse every single time which is "I wont talk with you in that tone".
    ARRRRGH!

I dunno if his ultimate goal is wheather to annoy me; get me crazy; or me
getting that useless piece of paper which is the "Highschool Diploma"...

To say the truth I dunno why I don't quit the school right now... :?
I mean... I KNOW that anything that I wanna do in the future doesn't
    require a highschool diploma... :/
I mean.. I don't want to work for anyone(exept army) in the future. So WTH?!

I think the reason that I don't quit now is because I have only a half year to go...
So if I quit it'll be like 12 years gone for nothing... :/
But in the end... the ultimate reward of these 12 years is not so much to be praised... :?

Well... the thing is that I know that there is more.
I know that there is intellegence and deep logic buried somewhere within
his brain because he is a person of sorts.
If you'd had a look at him you couldn't belive that this person is that
irrational... But unfourtainly he is... :?

Every single encounter with him I try to uncover his true motives.
But in the end of the day we just end up fighting and me 1 cm closer to bashing his
    head on the floor.

Just the fact you want 2 join the military is telling. People who have overly controlling parents often see it as a way to gain control over their own lives, and it is. They discipline is tough, but fair, and once you get out the military is through with you and won't keep trying to control you any more.

It also helps that you'll have a little money in your pocket, if you've been smart about how you spend it during your enlistment.

Personally, however, I would still advise you to get your education (by which I mean go to college). You may not need the degree to impress people, but you'd be surprised how much there is for them to teach you about how to set up your "campaigns" or whatever it is you're trying to go into.

It's kind of like how a martial arts master can help you fight better. Sure, you could probably figure some of that out on your own, but you're gonna get your a$$ kicked the first time you meet another martial arts master, if you don't know that stuff yourself. (Apply that metaphor to business and I think you'll see what I mean)

Probelm is that he doesn't really care if I go to millitary or not.
One thing to say also is that in israel you must be recruited at age of 18, I choose to
be a fighting soldier. Me father doesn't seem to counter that...

    As in "business" education... bah!
As I said before, a few courses to teach you the ropes and ure set.
The business world evolves mostly around luck and ideas rather than "education",
and wasting god knows how many years on studying ideas of other people doesnt
look as bring to me as making new ideas of your own...

All-in-all, you must understand that my father doesn't want any good for me, he
just wants to fulfil his principals of which is me getting a highschool diploma then
say "get the fuck out of my face" once his principal has been fulfiled... :?

... In other words he just wants to be able to say he "tried" to all his friends and acquaintences when it's done. Whether you're on the street or racking in millions of dollars a year, he wants to have it look like he did a good job to outside observers. ... Which I'll agree is a very different thing from really caring about you.

    As for business education:

It's not luck. If you think that then you're probably going to lose. It's knowing what risks are good risks, and which ones are sucker risks. You'll want some training in statistical analysis, and really good math skills, even up to calculus.

You're right that originality/ideas is the key, but if you don't know what you're doing then other people will find ways to exploit those ideas for themselves and cheat you out of all the money you were supposed to make.

The best degree is not one in business, though. It's a law degree. People are always trying to sue each other in business, and knowing the law yourself enables you to make your own court appearances, and hire the right lawyers (because you'll know a good lawyer when you see one).

WOW - thats a very good bit of sound advice for anyone, Well done on that.
I completely agree with all of that. I got nowhere in school, and so didnt go to college or uni. It was only when my son was born last november i realised - shit, ive got nothing and cant provide much of a great future for him unless i get myself educated. So, I am beginning a degree in Engineering through the open university in september. It will take me 7 years to complete (if I include the masters, which I hope to). It will take hard work and determination but the end result will be well worth the wait and the effort. The world meets no-one half way! I used to be one of these people who would sit there and say "I wish I could do this or that" - dont wish - DO !
The hand of time rested on the half-hour mark, and all along that old front line of the English there came a whistling and a crying. The men of the first wave climbed up the parapets, in tumult, darkness, and the presence of death, and having done with all pleasant things, advanced across No Man's Land to begin the Battle of the Somme. - Poet John Masefield.

So by "right" you reffer to "going with the flow"?
That everyone who "goes with the flow" (i.e. going to school--college/uni) is bound to success, whereas the ones

This thought doesn't show the dynamism of the world in a very bright light, isn't it?

    In other matters:

In luck matters is where you are extremely wrong:
you might know all the snazzy tactics for every business but in the end it sums up
to the consumers(market); after you've completed setting up your project or whatever
is the time where you have to rely only on luck because you can never know who
will buy what and when a new powerful secret brand will decide to pop into the market.

And again, math/calculus/law... if you're the man then you can(and will)
always hire proffessionals to do the work for you.
People spend all their lives on studying these arts but in the end they always will
be looking for work. This is where the man comes into play offering them money

You've got it. The "middle class" are so easy to own when they won't admit they are working class, dressed up.

Still there's one guy who will ride on you: the taxman. When you don't have an employer keeping you honest... and you're a risk-taker to begin with... don't push your luck Hanuka.

And by not pushing me luck you reffer to like not take risks? and suffer the most
ultimate punishment of all which is getting stuck in teh rut? no thank you.

I mean employees can't cheat much even if they want to. If they want to cheat on taxes, they've got to make that profitable to the boss... then maybe.

When you run the business, fraud is so tempting. It's like, just forget to enter a few numbers, tempting. They take such a huge cut off your should-be-high income. You can play with all this money as part of the business but you can't have it. And they aren't looking over your shoulder. Believe me it is too easy.

Many businesspeople go down that way. It's another kind of "risk".

Why can't have it? its yours.
You can one day just say to your workers "sorry mates, today we are closing please pack all your shyt and get the hell out of my building"
if they choose to that is...

But why would one that makes a shyt load of money wishes to be dishonest
with his employees and do such a thing?
Utimately when doing such things you end the end heart yourself and YOUR income...

If there is already money at yo pocket, why would you care about more money?
To buy a snazzy new Ferarri? gimme a brake.

Besides, with the plans that I have in mind these nonesense should hardly bug me at all... :?

Well, you're right about the market being unpredictable. That's a charisma thing. People with charisma have a sort of general "sense" of what's going to be popular, and so when they follow their "nose" or "gut" or whatever you want to call it, you're betting with the odds. That is the key.

Look: you don't need to be a specialist in any of those fields, but you do need to know enough to tell who knows what they're talking about and who is Bull $hitting you.

It's like when you take your car to a mechanic. If you know nothing about auto-mechanics, they can charge you to do a lot of things that don't need done.

Your employees will always try and tell you they need office equipment and stuff that isn't really necessary, or that you need to hire more people, or that they should get paid more. If you don't know one way or another, you're going to do one of two things:

    1) - Buy a lot of unnecessary stuff, and cut into your profits.

    2) - Refuse to buy stuff that you actually need, and end up delivering a $hitty product to your customers.

I, in high school,..... the two years I was there, actually competed with one of my best friends to get the lowest grade. Well, we both got zeros in a class. Then I turned to drugs, because at the time they were fun. Then I developed schizophrenia, add, ocd, and depression.... later I was told I had schizoeffective disorder. I have lived off people up until now; never being able to hold down a job. I do not have a car, money, or a life... oddly enough I have a girlfriend that lives with me... but then again I have never had a problem with woman... or at least having one.... = ) My future is bleak at best and I, like the NIN song, am in a downward spiral; which I assume will ultimately result in my death. I am not being glum... I am very serious when I say this. My health is in peril... because of all the double cheeseburgers, smoking(cigarettes), and neglect of my physical well being; which I assume was a bi-product of all the mental problems. There is absolutely no hope for a better tomorrow, and I honestly live out each day in complete and utter agonizing boredom. My life is a barren.

I too once thought I was going to have a tomorrow... I had big plans... cure aids, invent things, become an astronaut... invest into nanotech upstarts... become the worlds first trillionaire... develop one of the first aerocar companies using my patented designs for a new method of lift... I was Gonna Be King Of the World...

    But now I am nothing....

But seriously... Cheeseburgers aren't kosher.. jk :-D
Just try to take off one habit at a time... everytime that I discover a flow in me
(one which I don't like having that is ) I pledge to myself to getting rid of it.
For example, currently I'm afraid to get hit in my nose in my kung fu practice,
so I go against the flow and risk my nose in every practice session.
Getting back on yar feet is not such a complex achivement, but you need to want
it to be able to have it :?

There are many people, some members of this forum, that have less than you or have made many more BAD CHOICES, but turned their lives around. If nothing else re-read your post above and note the 'I's' needed to express yourself (indicates insecurity, self pity) and I will make note, you blamed no one in your process but yourself, which is promising. You also mentioned multiple girl fiends and probably jobs as well.

I am approaching this as if your in the US, but think much would be the same anyplace.

What interest you in a career, today not in the past? Suppose you quit HS or two years before graduation. You have a computer and there are several sites, you can train to take a GED test (helpful) for a HS equivalency, even getting you into higher education if still wanting to cure AID's. You should be working and hold a job for other reason than self support. Get a job and hold it, while you get the rest of your life in order. I hope there are not any kids in your past, but if so the job and progress out of this defeatist attitude will have the best reasons possible, helping some one else.

No one is guaranteed a long life, no one knows if they will be around next week or in 20 years. What ever your health problems are, nothing you mentioned above is serious, there is probably something you can do, take or adjust lifestyle to help out. Double Cheeseburgers indicates fat, over weight or diabetes, but with no problem with ladies, does not...

You got to someplace in life, as you said living off others. Might I suggest to those people you must be 'something, opposed to your 'nothing'. You don't need to be much, to make those people proud. Your list of 'wanted to' is impressive, probably not much different than many young folks today. Unless your past 60 or so, most any of those dreams are possible...even then none are impossible...well maybe 'king of the world' would be.

Well, that is one of the most important skills of the successful entrepreneur.

I've been hard in you in the last few posts because I believe in Murphy's law, but I have to admit that some of the most successful entrepreneurs in history were high school drop-outs.

Still, the most successful ones in recent history were college drop outs.

You might want to get to college first for a few reasons:

    1) - You will meet the children of people rich enough to invest in your projects.

    2) - You will meet the kind of people you want to hire later on when they graduate. (Because it really helps to know them personally before you hire them.)

    3) - It totally gives you credibility with investors to have completed some college.

    4) - Its fun. Just like highschool except nobody tells you what to do.

You are absolutely right about meeting people who are, in some cases, pivotal to developing certain aspects of prospects; especially in the college environments.

College is, in some cases, a place where the beginnings of ideas begin to take shape, and people are exposed to such things.

Admittedly I am in a position where I have to rely on my dedication to dreams. I must do what is seemingly impossible, to me, and make something out of practically nothing.

Although in truth I have always wanted it this way... for some reason I need to prove to myself that I can do it.

Perhaps these are some reason I dropped out of high school... not because I did not value knowledge.. but because I felt as if I only deserved it if I truly earned it.

So with that said... thank you

    You write well.

May I thus suggest you write a story of your life and title it

' a health warning from a teenage bum'

or could replace 'bum' for drop out.

Writing the book will motivate and energise you, it will also help you to externalise your problems and view them more objectively and also rid yourself of the angst.

Find a publisher for your work and create a ready made audience by publishing extracts in a blog.

Then get off your arse and elect to be different. We decide who we are, there is such a thing as change.

    Do it.
'Time is the space between birth and death' by me.

    = ) Sounds like a plan...

I guess the only response I could have is that I am sorry for unloading my personal problems to this forum; not matter how humorous I intended them to be.
