could the recent abundance of solar flares and sunspots mean a shorter lifespan for the sun?
does anyone have any thoughts?
AFAIK the sun undergoes, among other Solar cycles, an +/- 11 year sunspot cycle, which is entirely normal. The sun should still last for maybe another 5 Billion years. No nead to worry :wink:
