    i have always wonderd

    how does traveling at the speed of sound make that bubble like thing and what is? is it different the the air around it?

    It's called a Prandtl-Glauert singularity, and is caused by the compression and rarefication of humid air. When the air is rarefied, the moisture in it condenses out causing the cloud-like formation.
    BTW, this not exclusively an breaking the sound barrier effect.
