I have learned as I have done some research,
that the cosmos is expanding as through the Big Bang Theory.

But that its rate of expansion is increasing. i.e... it is accelerating.

As I thought about this, I realized that it makes very good sense.

I then realized what "Dark Energy" is, and how it is producing this acceleration.

My previous post had asserted too much, (which was risky)
and realized it might have banned me, as a crackpot.

The point here is that I think I will need to publish a standard paper on this
prior to any new conversation on the topic... as is appropriate.

None the less, I have not found any other views which might seem
to help determine if, in fact this concept of cosmic acceleration has been
elucidated or not. So far it seems to still be a mystery to everyone but me.

In fact, it does not seem mysterious to me, at all.
However I think I need more input before asserting such confidence.

Therefore, if anyone has any insight to other views I would surely love
to discuss them. If not, maybe just a little direction on how to write
and publish such a dissertation, being that I am completely new to this
    would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards.................. t-mike

t-mike; The idea of universal expansion, is a must for Big Bang Theory.
For an understanding of this you might google *Big Bang Nucleosynthisis*, which explains how its thought expansion began and how the first matter formed over time. *Cosmic Radiation Background*, which effected all matter, as formed is another said validation of BBT.
In short every place you look in space and can get a temperature reading, that temperature is about 3 kelvin, as it has cooled. Then its said proportionately, by distance from earth, expansion of space between matter increases, which all we have to go by are images from distant space and reactions of energy waves to colors. This must also, have to be true for BBT, since we are in fact looking at the universe past according to distance. What we see 2-5-10 billion years away, is the energy emitted from matter at that point in time.

Is expansion a mystery or if Big Bang is the true reason the Universe exist are to most a mystery and one which may never be solved. The above points on BBT, are argued or explained from other causes, by many folks, most notably by the few that feel in some manner the universe has simply always existed (Steady State Universe).

There are some, that try to bring Dark Matter, Dark Energy or anti matter into the picture. Originally these were to justify current gravity anomalies or justify galaxy movements or apparent adhesive nature.

If you have a theory, for instance *Why no mystery* you can do so on any forum. There are several Physics Forums or other science forums with qualified scientist who moderate. You can google a topic, ending with forum and get a preview of who your dealing with. Those same people, many having taught or practiced in science, would be happy to explain how to write and who to submit it to. You could PM *Q*, *Megabrain*, *Ophie* or the administrator of this one and probably get a response. They have been around long enough to know...

I hate to place a 'roadblock' into your research but the BBT has no real science for its support.
It was originally based on the Hubble observations that were interpreted as Doppler (relative motions), but was then refuted and replaced with a subjective idea (expansion of space) because Doppler implied a repeat of the Geocentric Theory that was refuted by Copernicus.

So I would advise you to get familiar with the Hubble observations and how they were misinterpreted as Dopplerian.

Also get familiar with Halton Arps 'Redshift Anomalies' that do not support the 'expansion of space' idea.
