    happy new year everone. i am desperate to buy history channel's "the universe"2007, in region 2 i believe which will play in europe/uk. i would be grateful for any help. i can only find usa/canada versions. thanks. beats

    Go to this site, www.videohelp.com and go to the DVD Hacks. Enter your DVD player's model number and see if you can find a hack for it. Then you can change the region code to 0 and be able to watch any region DVD! You might still need a NTSC/PAL compatible tv though, but most of the last few years are. Good luck.

    PS: Hacking your DVD PLayer requires nothing more fancy than pressing a few buttons on your remote control. Oh, and it is not illegal :wink:

    kalster ive got the hack thanks. it doesnt offer me 0 region though, it offers multiregion is this the same
