Thread: Interesting Surface - Need Suggestions

Hey guys. I'm not sure if I ever posted this before - because I have so many strange images floating around my hardrive - but take a look at this image.

Look at the middle-slightly-right. Very wierd surface feature. Have any of ya'll seen this one before?

BORING SURFACE

Seriously dude, don't waste our time with this. 1st link doesn't work, by the way (security blocked?) and if it's the same image as the second link, the contrast is so high and the image so dark it could be Whistler's Mother for all anybody can tell.

Ditto. Can't get to the first site for some type of security error.

EDIT - The second image was just to show that I did not fake it.

YOU HAVE TO SEE THE FULL-SIZED IMAGE, on my blog in order to see the surface feature I am talking about.

Yes, the contrast is rather extreme and difficult, but nontheless there is AN INTERESTING SURFACE FEATURE.

The first link worked fine for me.

Ive seen this before. The trouble is the lack of photons in this image – really the contrast level.
As a result it is probably nothing special; it’s a nice looking image though in my opinion.

Do you know what it is? Battered asteroid?

It's okay. The image is so highly contrasted it looks a bit unusual.
