    They say that we will be able to create robots as smart as humans in only 50 years of time, which whom we could send up into space and let them do the work for us.
    But there is but one problem, whith what? Seemingly earths oil reserves are fastly depleting, what will cause nasa quite a deal. Are there any alternative fuel sources or would we be able to fly to the moon with an engine powered by electricety?

    NASA doesn't use oil entirely, but that's another matter.

    Yes, there have been many proposed solutions to rocket fuels, but there's one huge problem: public ignorance.

    Case in point: the nuclear rocket.

    Usually Nasa's space mission robots are nuclear powered. How to dispose of nuclear waste isn't as much an issue in space as it is down on earth.

    As far as rocket fuel to get out there, Hydrogen is the most common rocket fuel. We'll never run out of that as long as we can generate electricity.
