I have offten thought about this. Black holes are pure gravity. But whats on the other side? Filix.

While there has been some speculation that a rotating black hole could have a "ring singularity", and that if you passed through the ring you would end up in another universe, there are some drawbacks to this scenario.
    1. We are not even certain that singularities even exist. While they seem to be predicted by GR, we also know that GR doesn't "play well" at the quantum level. It could very well be that if we can ever develop a quantum theory of gravity, the idea of a singularity will go away.
    2. You would have to survive the extreme tidal forces involved.
    3. While you would end up in a new universe, it would inside the event horizon of a black hole in that universe with no way to leave it. You would be essentially exchanging one prison for another.

Black holes are essentially spherical. Where's the "other side"?

I think the idea is "beyond the centre".

Be careful, you could end up in another black hole in another universe.
Actually there's likely to be nothing on the other side. Just disassembly and death.
If you’re looking for an escape to another dimension, read a good book.

Have there been any ideas for testing any of the possible scenarios involving conditions at the centre of a black hole?
