Just informing my fellow science aficionado's whom might not know. Rare lunar eclipse this Wednesday will be a selenelion, but you need to get up mighty early to see it (along with proper location on the planet).

Luckly I am able to & will watch it with my girlfriend while we go hunting this week. Deer & astrological event, life is great

Thanks. Apparently I will get to view some of the eclipse at moonrise here in western China. So I won't have to get up early, just stay awake till about 7 p.m! I can try to take some photos, but all I got is my iPhone camera and very little photographic talent. I'll report in just the same.

And what does the Lord require of you but to love justice, to be merciful and to walk humbly with Him?

I do not think china will be afforded the oppertunity to witness a selenelion. You can see the eclipse but I belive its only north & parts of south America that will get to view both the sunrise & a lunar eclipse at the same time. Something that should be, impossible (since its the suns rays being blocked by earth that causes the eclipse)

I'm not saying that you are mistaken, yet I hope you're wrong. According to this map, I can view the eclipse.

I'm in the moon rises during total eclipse section - third from the left. When you wish upon a star... makes no difference where you are...

I could be mistaken. Though the unique phenomenon is not seeing the eclipse, but watching the eclipse while watching the sun rise/set

regardless. There will be an eclipse wednesday & I hope all my friends get a chance to see it. Even if your not sure if you will, never hurts to try

This eclipse will occur in the morning for those in america/south america. Evening for china/austrillia. Those whom live in europe/africa your just SOL
